Fateh Sagar filled up to 12.5 feet

The city of Udaipur has been under cloudy skies since the morning. Some parts of the city have experienced scattered showers, but the rainfall hasn’t been too heavy. Meanwhile, the Rishabhdeo reservoir in Udaipur has also reached its full capacity.

The water level of the Fateh Sagar Lake, which has a capacity of 13 feet, has reached 12.5 feet. Now, the city residents eagerly await the opening of the gates of Fateh Sagar and the overflow of water.

The inflow of water into Fateh Sagar is taking place through the Madar Canal. Due to good rainfall in the catchment area, water is flowing directly from Thoor ki Pal into Fateh Sagar. The water level in Udaisagar, which has a capacity of 24 feet, is at 22 feet. Two gates were opened two days ago.

In the past twenty-four hours, Udaipur district received 3 inches of rainfall in Ogna and 2 inches in Devas. The city of Udaipur recorded 1 inch of rainfall.
