Key Announcements for Udaipur Division
Development of Tribal Tourist Circuit
To boost eco-tourism and historical-religious tourism, the government has announced a Tribal Tourist Circuit with an allocation of ₹100 crore. The sites included in this circuit are:
- Tripura Sundari (Banswara)
- Mangarh Dham
- Sita Mata Sanctuary (Pratapgarh)
- Rishabhdev (Udaipur)
- Gautameshwar Temple (Pratapgarh)
- Matrukundiya (Chittorgarh)
Educational and Sports Infrastructure
- Establishment of an Institute of Mines in Udaipur.
- Announcement of a Para Sports Special Sports Complex in Udaipur.
- Opening of a Lacrosse Academy in Udaipur.
- A new 120-bed Spinal Injury Centre to be established in Udaipur.
Development in Salumber Region
- Promotion of Salumber Sub-Jail to District Jail.
- Establishment of a Cyber Police Station in Salumber.
- Upgradation of Salumber to District & Sessions Court.
- Development of a new Roadways Bus Stand in Salumber.
- Construction of a Sports Stadium in Salumber.
Road Infrastructure Projects
- Gogunda to Rampura via Majawad-Dhar: A new road to be built with an estimated cost of ₹65.25 crore.
- Bharodi to Bhanasol NH via Palana Kalan, Chhoti Khedi, Moti Khedi: Road construction with an investment of ₹16 crore.
- Bhinder to Panund-Phila, Bhavarasiya to Kurabad MDR Road Widening & Reconstruction: Covering 35 km at a cost of ₹70 crore.
