Sir Padampat Singhania University Celebrates its 11th Convocation Ceremony

On Friday, November 8th, 2024, Sir Padampat Singhania University (SPSU), Udaipur, will hold its much-anticipated Eleventh Convocation Ceremony, celebrating the achievements of its graduating class of 2024. This significant event marks a milestone in the lives of students and their journey into the professional world.

The ceremony will be presided over by the Honourable Chairperson of the University, Dr. Nidhipati Singhania, who has been instrumental in steering SPSU toward academic and institutional excellence. This year, the university is honoured to welcome Prof. Ved Prakash, former Chairman of the University Grants Commission (UGC), as the Chief Guest. Prof. Prakash’s extensive contributions to Indian higher education will undoubtedly inspire the graduating batch and emphasize the value of lifelong learning.

Several esteemed Guests of Honour will grace the convocation, including Shri Annu Madanlal Kapoor, a celebrated film and television actor known for his contributions to Indian entertainment; Shri Sunil Shastri, a renowned politician and social activist who has championed various social causes; and Shri Dilip Kumar Tirkey, former captain of the Indian hockey team, whose legacy in sports continues to inspire young athletes.

The ceremony will also be attended by prominent dignitaries from the JK Cement family and SPSU leadership, including Dr. Raghavpat Singhania, Managing Director of JK Cement Ltd., and Col. (Dr.) Sanjay Sinha, Vice President & Head of Education, JK Cement Ltd. Prof. (Dr.) Prithvi Yadav, President of SPSU, will lead the proceedings along with other distinguished guests, faculty members, and the proud families of the graduating students.

As part of the celebrations, SPSU will confer degrees upon the graduating students, symbolizing the culmination of their hard work, dedication, and intellectual growth at the university.
