Jaipur, Aug 14 (IANS): The test drive of Rajasthan’s third Vande Bharat train between Udaipur and Jaipur has been successfully executed.
Throughout the test run on Sunday, the train covered a distance of 400 km in six hours 40 minutes at a velocity of 110 km/h. Throughout the return voyage, it departed Jaipur at approximately 4.30 p.m., about 30 minutes behind schedule, but arrived at platform number 5 of Udaipur’s city station at 9.56 p.m., four minutes earlier than scheduled.
According to train sources, groups of livestock appeared in front of the train at numerous locations during the trip.
Because of this, the velocity of the vande bharat train was reduced multiple times.
Sources stated that the operational timetable of the train has not been unveiled yet.
In such a scenario, its price was also unannounced.
Its timetable will be issued by the Railway Board on the go-ahead of the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO). There is a proposal to operate it six days a week excluding Sunday. Furnished with cutting-edge amenities, this partially elevated speed train has eight carriages and 530 seats.
